5 Days Istanbul - Gallipoli - Troy Tour By Bus

DAY 1: ARRIVAL to ISTANBUL & TRANSFER TO HOTEL

Upon your arrival at Istanbul airport our transferman will be ready to meet and transfer you to your hotel. Time at leisure, stay overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 2: ISTANBUL TREASURES TOUR (Included meal: Breakfast & Lunch)

08.30: You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Old City. In this day you will be able to see:

ROMAN HIPPODROME: Center of sport activities and political events of the Eastern Roman Empire.

BLUE MOSQUE: This mosque complex, containing Istanbul's only mosque with six minarets was built by Sedefkar Mehmet Aga for Sultan Ahmed 1st. early 17th century.

HAGIA SOPHIA: Byzantium largest cathedral, converted to mosque 1453 by the Ottoman Empire and today open as a museum to see both religion remains.

GRAND BAZAAR: Famous shopping center worldwide. Shopping possibilities for carpet, jewellery, leather etc.

LITTLE HAGIA SOPHIA MOSQUE: This Byzantine building with a central dome plan was erected in the sixth century by Justinian, likely was a model for Hagia Sophia ("Holy Wisdom"), and is one of the most important early Byzantine buildings in Istanbul.

TOPKAPI PALACE: Built between 1475 and 1478 by Mehmet II, Fatih, the conqueror of Istanbul, served as the residence of the sultan and administrative seat of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel at around 17:30. Overnight in Istanbul

DAY 3: GALLIPOLI TOUR FROM ISTANBUL (Included meal: Breakfast & Lunch).

06:00 - 06:30 pick up from Taksim area or 06:30 - 07:00 pick up from Sultanamet, you will be picked up early morning from your hotel for Full day tour of Gallipoli.

After pick up from hotel drive to Eceabat by non smoking, A/C minibus, you will have breakfast at 09:00 on the way. 12:20 Arrive in Eceabat, 12:30 Lunch at Ecebat
13:00 Depart for Fully Guided Gallipoli Tour.

BRIGHTON BEACH: From Shrapnel Valley Cemetery go back to the main beach road. Turn left and walk along this road for about half a kilometre. Ahead of you will be the promontory of Gaba Tepe and to your right the shore known to the Anzacs as Brighton Beach.

BEACH CEMETERY: Beach Cemetery is a small Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery containing the remains of allied troops who died during the Battle of Gallipoli. It is located at Hell Spit, at the southern end of Anzac Cove on the Gallipoli.

ANZAC COVE: Anzac Cove (Turkish: Anzak Koyu) is a small cove on the Gallipoli peninsula in Turkey. It became famous as the site of World War I landing of the ANZACs.

ARIBURNU CEMETERY: Ari Burnu Cemetery has been the site of the Anzac Day Dawn Service. ... It was registered as a cultural heritage Site by the Turkish Ministry of Culture. 

ANZAC COMMEMORATIVE SITE: The Anzac Commemorative site, 300 metres north of Ari Burnu at North Beach, has ten large pictorial panels with text in English and Turkish that tell the story of Gallipoli.

RESPECT TO MEHMETCIK STATUE: The Respect to Mehmetçik Memorial (Turkish: Mehmetcige Saygı Aniti is a monument in the Gallipoli peninsula,Turkey. Mehmetçik is a common name given to soldiers in a war.

LONE PINE AUSTRALIAN MEMORIAL: The Lone Pine Memorial is at the east end of Lone Pine Cemetery.
The Anzac and Suvla cemeteries are first signposted from the left hand junction of the Eceabat - Bigali road. From this junction you should travel into the main Anzac area.

JOHNSTON'S JOLLY (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels): Johnston's Jolly Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commissioncemetery containing the remains of some of the Allied troops who died during the Battle of Gallipoli.

Turkish 57. Infantry Regiment Cemetery: The 57th Infantry Regiment Memorial is a Turkish war memorial commemorating the men of the Turkish 57th Infantry Regiment who died during the Battle of Gallipoli.

THE NEK: The Battle of the Nek (Turkish: Kilicbayır Muharebesi) was a small World War I battle fought as part of the Gallipoli campaign. "The Nek" was a narrow stretch of ridge in the Anzac battlefield on the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial: Chunuk Bair Cemetery (632 burials) and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial (850 names) take their name from the southern summit (now known as Conkbayiri) of the Sari Bair, the ridge which dominates the centre of the Peninsula.

End of the day, we will cross the dardanelles. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel at around 18.00 Overnight in Canakkale.

DAY 4: TROY TOUR (Included meal: Breakfast).

After breakfast, we drive to the ruins of Troy. Our guide will reveal stories of the famed battle between Achilles and Hector, and reveal the fable behind the Trojan horse. After our morning Troy tour, After the tour that we will depart from Canakkale, drive back to Istanbul, After arrival we will transfer you back to your hotel, Overnight stay in Istanbul.

DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM ISTANBUL (Included meal: Breakfast).

After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport regarding your flight details. End of tour and services. (If you would like, you can extend your trip by adding extra nights in Istanbul, please advise.
